Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Official Trailer

Image
We are 2 months away from new Star Wars and although we've had several teasers, we haven't had a full trailer for the movie in which has a ton of secrecy surrounding it. But that all changes now with the release of the first full trailer for Force Awakens! It's here! Enjoy!

Star Wars Force AwakensTheatrical Poster Released PLUS Trailer and Ticket news

Image
Here it is! your first look at (almost) every main character involved in the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Suspicious by his absence is, of course, Luke Skywalker, which makes me think that J.J. Abrams is holding onto movie details until the bitter end. (Also is that a new Death Star above Finn's head?!) Also confirmed today was that the first official non-teaser trailer for the movie will air during Monday Night Football tomorrow night (10-19-2015) on the Disney-owned channel ESPN. And finally, you can start buying all of the tickets to see Force Awakens tomorrow as well starting at around 8:30pm EST (depending on your local movie theaters, I suppose). There will be a select number of theaters around the country that will be participating in a Star Wars movie marathon in the hours leading up to the new film's release. Check out to see where that's happening nearest to you over at  Starwars.com

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Poster Revealed

Image
Today at Disney's D23 Expo, the poster for the upcoming Star Wars film was released. You can see said poster below: Obviously the major thing here is the fact that Finn (John Boyega) is wielding Luke Skywalker's blue lightsaber that was given to him by Obi-Wan and originally belonged to Anakin. We knew Luke's lightsaber would come into play as we saw it changed hands in the latest teaser trailer and it's interesting that Finn's last name still hasn't been revealed. Does this mean the lightsaber is being kept in the family? Or is Finn simply borrowing it? Or did Finn just happen to come into possession and have no idea of it's significance. Either way, I'm stoked.

New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Photos & Kylo Ren Details

Image
Today, Entertainment Weekly released photos from Star Wars: The Force Awakens as well as a little more information on one of the villains of the new movie played by Adam Driver, Kylo Ren. One of the images that started the giant debate over whether or not people like Kylo Ren's lightsaber. One theory has been proven right about it but more on that below the photos. Domhnall Gleeson's character General Hux. This same image was shown back at Comic-Con but was never officially released until now. Also, as spoiled by Gleeson at Comic-Con, Hux is the leader at the Starkiller Base and is confirmed to be a villain (because he's British). Finn and Rey running from stormtroopers, possibly on Jakku.  Is the mystery person riding a giant animal? A giant droid? Both? Also, is Rey capturing BB-8 or is that just the best way to transform the rolling droid that's captured the awe of Star Wars fans already. Finn is still dressed as a stormtrooper as...

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Behind the Scenes Footage

Image
We were all a bit bummed to hear that no new scenes or trailers would debut for Force Awakens at San Diego Comic Con 2015 this weekend. Some of us thought that announcement might have been a swerve to surprise fans but alas, no new scenes and no new trailer. But that doesn't mean there wasn't something for the fans to see. In a panel that featured Lucasfilm Queen Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. Abrams, and writer Lawrence Kasdan, they brought out a few surprises like the creature that was shown J.J. Abrams omaze video last year and a few other guests. Cast members Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson (whose character is still a mystery), and Gwendolin Christie all appeared on stage and answered a few questions. Then the big surprises were when the original 3 made an appearance. Of course, I'm talking about Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and even Harrison Ford. But the big meat of the panel came in the form of a behind the scenes video narra...
