Irrelevant But Awesome

Can we talk for a few minutes about how much I love Halloween? I love everything about it, from the candy and trick-r-treating, to costumes and parties, to horror movies and awesome music. I make it a point to celebrate Halloween hard! A quick history lesson, Halloween originated as part of a harvest festival based around the Autumnal Equinox. Some parts of what we now call Halloween came from Celtic ritual, like carving scary faces into pumpkins which were set out to scare evil spirits away from your home. Some things came from other festivals like Mexico's Dia de los Muertos, such as dressing in costumes in order to hide from/blend in with the spirits as they walked about on the earth. Today's Halloween is enjoyed very much for fun and holds little to no spiritual value for most people. I mean, it isn't even considered a "National" holiday. A slew of information just came out about the next (which would be the 5th) Die Hard movie. Among the tidbits of information we got A shooting start date (January 2012) a release date (Valentine's Day 2013) and a plot synopsis that included the idea that much of the film would be set in Russia and the threat that McClane faces would be a worldwide one. But a big bit of info that was released included the title of the upcoming movie... A Good Day To Die Hard. Sure it's a bit silly sounding. But I'm gonna stand up for it. After all, How great of a title was Live Free or Die Hard? In fact we can go all the way back to Die Hard 2 which was subtitled Die Harder. Sure these titles might sound a bit strange. But the Die Hard series is not a dramatic or realistic portrayal of the events of the movies. These movies are high action fun. And they themsleves are a bit silly at times. So, A Good Day To Die Hard. Works for me. I just wish I could see the list of other "Die" or
