G.I. Joe 2 gets a trailer as well

Man it sure has been a big day for trailers.
Not only did we have the MIB 3 trailer earlier in the day, now we've got a GI Joe trailer out as well. Check it out below.



So I knew the Rock was going to be a big part of the movie, after all he's arguably the biggest name attached to the thing, but it seems that hes going to be unquestionably the main character of the thing this time around. I think saw Duke for a second in there but not near what I saw of Roadblock.
Also did this plot remind anyone else of the set up for the new Mission Impossible movie. Which is really the premise for the A-Team show from way back when. But it's the same plot with Snake Eyes, so I'm more or less content with that.

What I would have really liked though is some sort of indication that we might get some more of Joseph Gordon-Levitt in this movie but I guess somebody was too busy being in the most anticipated Batman movie of all time. So there's that.

Oh and for those who don't know why we're supposed to be excited about Bruce Willis (other than the fact that Bruce Willis is in this movie) He's playing General Joseph Colton a character that those who have only watched the cartoon may not know since never appeared there. He is only been in the comics. (And the toys I guess)

What with all the talk about the Oscar nominations getting announced today, one particular nomination has been overlooked. Namely the fact that even though the ENTIRE soundtrack was overlooked by the Golden Globes the Oscars at least did right by the best bunch of original songs this year and nominated Man or Muppet as on of the contenders for Best Original Song. Day 5 of Halloween - The Fly (1958)

Jason:  First of all, I hope that everyone watched the right iteration of this film. The one with Vincent Price, not Jeff Goldblum.  Now that we’ve gotten that straight… This movie is considered to be a Halloween cult classic. It doesn’t have a whole lot in the way of scares or terror but it still remains a seasonal favorite. For the time, the make-up effects were decent. The way Andre’s fly head twitches and vibrates makes it look pretty convincing for a 1950’s puppet mask. The story, however, is what is so captivating. I have been reading a lot of Lovecraft stories lately and I couldn’t help but draw a comparison between them and this movie. The plot is very Lovecraftian. Let me explain: The main character is a highly intellectual recluse who spends most of his time in research. He stumbles across some natural secret that ultimately leads to his destruction. You're the Worst 5.13: "Pancakes"

Chris:  First of all, playing “No Children” by The Mountain Goats was the perfect ending I didn’t know the show needed. You’re the Worst ended with in a more happy, optimistic way than I think anyone predicted but I think it was done so in a way that was appropriate to how the show had felt previous to Pancakes. Edgar is the best of the worst, I’ve decided. Yes, trying to convince the groom to not go through with the wedding so close to the ceremony is a very bad thing to do but it forced Edgar and Gretchen to not only really think about what they actually wanted but to do so by directly addressing it with each other for once. In the end, Jimmy and Gretchen stay together but don’t get married and, honestly, it makes way more sense this way. The one thought I’ve had creeping in the back of my head since the moment Jimmy proposed was how out of character it felt for either of them to want to get married with all of their commitment issues.
