So tell me the difference between these two outfits? Which looks more ridiculous?

I'll give you a guess, it's the one with the shiny bright blue spandex pants with matching blue boots. I was concerned for the new Wonder Woman tv show when they announced the basic premise. I was even more concerned when the original costume idea first appeared a couple weeks back. It seemed like no one involved had any clue what to do with Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Three distinct personalities, high-heel blue boots, what else could they throw in there?

But now I think it might be getting better. This new costume, while still problematic, is a step up from both the original tv costume and her original bathing suit-inspired costume as well. I still have no idea how she can run with such little breast support, but at least she has some pants on now. If Xena: Warrior Princess could use some straps, her Amazonian sister Wonder Woman could too. I'm just saying. And her shoes are the right color and in a more practical flat design which makes running and kicking ass so much easier.

I think I have hope for the David E. Kelly/NBC show. I'll give it a few shots at least now.

What with all the talk about the Oscar nominations getting announced today, one particular nomination has been overlooked. Namely the fact that even though the ENTIRE soundtrack was overlooked by the Golden Globes the Oscars at least did right by the best bunch of original songs this year and nominated Man or Muppet as on of the contenders for Best Original Song. Day 5 of Halloween - The Fly (1958)

Jason:  First of all, I hope that everyone watched the right iteration of this film. The one with Vincent Price, not Jeff Goldblum.  Now that we’ve gotten that straight… This movie is considered to be a Halloween cult classic. It doesn’t have a whole lot in the way of scares or terror but it still remains a seasonal favorite. For the time, the make-up effects were decent. The way Andre’s fly head twitches and vibrates makes it look pretty convincing for a 1950’s puppet mask. The story, however, is what is so captivating. I have been reading a lot of Lovecraft stories lately and I couldn’t help but draw a comparison between them and this movie. The plot is very Lovecraftian. Let me explain: The main character is a highly intellectual recluse who spends most of his time in research. He stumbles across some natural secret that ultimately leads to his destruction. You're the Worst 5.13: "Pancakes"

Chris:  First of all, playing “No Children” by The Mountain Goats was the perfect ending I didn’t know the show needed. You’re the Worst ended with in a more happy, optimistic way than I think anyone predicted but I think it was done so in a way that was appropriate to how the show had felt previous to Pancakes. Edgar is the best of the worst, I’ve decided. Yes, trying to convince the groom to not go through with the wedding so close to the ceremony is a very bad thing to do but it forced Edgar and Gretchen to not only really think about what they actually wanted but to do so by directly addressing it with each other for once. In the end, Jimmy and Gretchen stay together but don’t get married and, honestly, it makes way more sense this way. The one thought I’ve had creeping in the back of my head since the moment Jimmy proposed was how out of character it felt for either of them to want to get married with all of their commitment issues.
