The Art of Mad Max: Fury Road

For those who haven't read the Mad Max review Chris wrote yesterday, the short of it is that you should go and see the movie. Stat. You know how movie reviews looking for the buzz words to get picked as the blurb on the poster tend to call something "an action packed thrill ride?" Well that is actually one of the best ways to describe the new Mad Max film. But not only that, it might be the most visually impressive action movie to come out in the past several years. Apparently there wasn't really a script for Fury Road , but instead there were storyboards about that meticulously detailed out the entire movie. And just like the movie they helped to create, the storyboards and concept art of Mad Max: Fury Road are works of art all in themselves. 2014 will mark Godzilla's Return

So for some time now, pictures, such as the ones below, have shown up from time to time on the ineternet.  Pictures such as those have all been about a movie. A Godzilla movie. An American made Godzilla movie. Now this isn't the first time America has attempted to take on the big moster from Japan, but this is an exciting post, so we'll not worry about the 1998 attempt right now.  The important thing to note is that yes, this Godzilla movie is moving forward, and it was announced today that Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. have scheduled the Godzilla movie to be released on May 16th, 2014.  As of right now, not much is known about the movie, other than the images above, the fact that director   Gareth Edwards has been tapped to bring the monster to the screen, and a surprise trailer and teaser poster that debuted earlier this year at Comic-Con.
