Nintendo World Championship Locations Announced
Back in 1990, Nintendo hosed a special video game competition that was loosely based on the film, The Wizard. It featured a special cartridge that was to be used for that competition only, and featured three different Nintendo games that were popular at the time. The competition was based on scoring the highest number of possible points in the alotted time limit. That unique cartridge has gone on to become a thing of video game legend as only a handful were ever made and they've since gone on to become one of the holy grails of video game collecting, easily selling for several thousand dollars each on the rare occasion that they've gone on sale. But that's another story for another time. What's exciting today is that Nintendo is reviving and updating their World Championship competition for 2015.
