Trailers for Walking Dead Season 6 and Fear the Walking Dead

As revealed in the video below, everybody's favorite weekly zombie action drama will be returning to AMC on October 11th in a 90-minute season premiere. How will Rick and the group get along with the people of Alexandria? What's up with all the tension between Rick and Morgan? Tell us what you think after watching the trailer below.


What do you think? Last season, we saw a lot of main cast members killed and eaten, will we see a repeat of that this year?


And here is our first look at the spin-off show Fear the Walking Dead set to premiere on August 23rd.



Details from the Fear the Walking Dead Comic Con Panel: 
  • Show will reveal characters with no real survival skills deal with the outbreak
  • It will depict the beginning of the outbreak but the characters having no real knowledge of exactly what is going on.
  • The zombies will be fresh with no real decomposition so that they just look like sick humans where your first instinct won't be to shoot them in the head.
  • Orange is the New Black actress Elizabeth Rodriguez is in the show. Being on both shows doesn't exactly mean her character is automatically meant to be Zombie food.
  • No plans for any sort of crossover with the main Walking Dead show. Wouldn't make sense geographically with this show taking place in LA.
  • Show will premiere at 9PM on August 23rd and will air at the same time around the world, regardless of time zones so no one will have to avoid social media due to spoilers.

What with all the talk about the Oscar nominations getting announced today, one particular nomination has been overlooked. Namely the fact that even though the ENTIRE soundtrack was overlooked by the Golden Globes the Oscars at least did right by the best bunch of original songs this year and nominated Man or Muppet as on of the contenders for Best Original Song. Day 5 of Halloween - The Fly (1958)

Jason:  First of all, I hope that everyone watched the right iteration of this film. The one with Vincent Price, not Jeff Goldblum.  Now that we’ve gotten that straight… This movie is considered to be a Halloween cult classic. It doesn’t have a whole lot in the way of scares or terror but it still remains a seasonal favorite. For the time, the make-up effects were decent. The way Andre’s fly head twitches and vibrates makes it look pretty convincing for a 1950’s puppet mask. The story, however, is what is so captivating. I have been reading a lot of Lovecraft stories lately and I couldn’t help but draw a comparison between them and this movie. The plot is very Lovecraftian. Let me explain: The main character is a highly intellectual recluse who spends most of his time in research. He stumbles across some natural secret that ultimately leads to his destruction.
