Marvel congratulates Jurassic World on crushing box office records

Jurassic World was probably destined to be a hit, but I don’t know that anyone expected it to completely shatter box office records.

The film raked in $208.8 million domestically last weekend, surpassing The Avengers’ $207.4 million record, and soared past Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2’s $314 million international bow with $315.3 million.

But it seems Marvel, for one, doesn’t have any hard feelings. Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige tweeted his congratulations to the Jurassic World team today, including, of course, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt.

The tweet features fun artwork by Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park, depicting a dinosaur-riding Pratt lording over the befuddled Avengers.
